ONONDAGA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING TWO AFTERNOON MOTOR VEHICLE CRASHES

ONONDAGA NATION, NY — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating two separate motor vehicle collisions that occurred this afternoon, August 31, 2026.

At approximately 2:10 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on State Route 11A near Gibson Road on the Onondaga Nation. A vehicle occupied by five males lost control and crashed. Four occupants were transported to area hospitals and are currently listed in stable condition.

While responding to the incident on Route 11A, a TLC Ambulance vehicle lost control and crashed on Seneca Turnpike. Both male occupants of the ambulance were transported to a local hospital and are also listed in stable condition.

Both incidents remain active investigations under the direction of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Further updates will be released as additional information becomes available.
